Ranked Inconsistency

Why is ranked sooooooooooooo inconsistent with matchmaking??? Some nights I win 8 matches back-to-back, other nights I lose 8 out of 10. In the past week, I've tanked from S2 to S5 from truly the absolute worst combination of teammates, from AFKs to feeders. How can matchmaking fail so hard?

I'm not the best player, but I've been climbing from B3 all the way to S2 and I've seen all of that work wiped away because of horrible matching, self-admitted smurfs stomping, and a huge influx of people saying "this is my first ranked match"

I don't want to play with people with 100 games under their belt when i'm pushing 3k

I'm sorry to say this, but you're matched with people at your skill level at the 3000 game mark. Silver 5 is basically the starting rank so don't be surprised if you see new players.

Fact of the matter is, a lot of the players who've topped 3000 games (I assume you include normals) have improved beyond the starting point. Try to rethink your mentality or you'll top 5000 games before climbing...

I can't do anything to stop the "Oops, we're a premade group of 3 that didn't mean to queue ranked" to have them collectively go 1/27 in score
