To those saying "Why don't you address the main problem of a champion"

Riot said it before, but they are not removing what defines a champion and makes him strong, they are toning town the other abilities to bring him down. Imagine if they did something to Yasuo's E, he'd be useless, or Kalista's passive, she'd be useless. They address the other abilities and not the main one in order to keep the champion in a better state.

Edit: Think of it like building a new computer, you're probably still gonna keep the good parts, but try to change the bad ones.

I agree with the examples you gave. Those are primary parts of a champion and their kits. Now, if someone suggested nerfing Yasuo's W or Kalista's E, I would agree with it, as that is what makes them directly powerful.

i find that if riot just removed the slow on rend and nerfed a few base stats people would not have much of a problem with kalista. also riot should give the wind wall a health bar. so people have a chance to break it and do something but they could give is a lower cooldown at later levels and lower the health bar at early levels. that way yasuo needs to chose what to put points into instead of making it a one point wonder. spells like that are cancer. and then that frees up yasuo's power budget so he can have some buffs to other spells.

The mordekaiser rework kinda contradicts that I believe
