Uh, people dodge in normals too. Mostly because they don't want to support

Not to mention the infinite search for supports in teambuilder.

I'm in highschool too buddy. I have enough time to do sports, play ranked, play xenoblade, and do my homework. But I do most of my homework in "advisory" if they have that at your school.

Big projects? Procrastinate on league until 11 o clock then finish at 2 am, gg

You act as though people dodge every queue. If you dont have "15" minutes to spare then you probably shouldn't have started a ranked game.

Pretty much every word in League is considered salt nowadays, even if it's the truth. Grow a pair, this community of children who have too much power with all these report buttons and downvotes when they are just defending themselves with "Salty person alert!...i am a model player of good behaviour i know when someone is salty."

Though i am not wrong by pretty much everyone defending their own opinion by drifting away from the original subject with "Ugh you're salty." when someone is just laying truth in their faces.

Example. "Man i can't play with these teams, so many mistakes and throws." -"Maybe cuz you're in Bronze right now? Maybe look at your own performance i got out of Bronze easily, just had to carry a bit." "MY PEFRORMANCE, why so salty? I just said my teams are bad not mine. If i played with you i'd report you for being negative to me."

I don't like it when people give ranked a bad rep; people never give it a try because of you guys. I think ranked is the funnest part of league and I want others to share the fun

Edit: It's like recommending a single player game to a random guy. Would you be able to play it with them? No. But it's fun to have games in common with people and being able to relate experiences. Solo Queue feels like a separate game.

Edit: The fact that you mentioned something along the lines of "Stupid teammates holding you back" only proves my first point. There's no way you could have met these "stupid teammates" so you obviously heard someone else complaining about it. The process of climbing the ranked ladder is being good enough that the "stupid teammates" can't stop you.

True story: When I was around level 20 I was always being matched with golds and silvers. I thought that as soon as I hit 30 I would just stomp right through bronze. Well, I was in for a rude awakening. Never in all of my league games up to that point had I met such immature people, they were truly the worst as far as gaming communities went. I'm pretty sure I lost 8/10 of my placement matches. I was insulted for being thrown into Bronze 4 after playing with golds/silvers in normals. I refused to try to get better because I always assumed I was better. I quit league for a while.

A few months later I came back with a drive to get better. I climbed ranks and found what works for me. I ended season 5 silver 2 but I was pretty satisfied with how far I came. Now I'm trying to get all of my friends to level 30 so we can start some ranked teams.

First, I'm level 25, not 17. Second, here someone complaining? You do realize I still play the same game, right? If your play is remotely close to the rank you are, it's a crap shoot of whether you win or not lol. Unless you are playing at multiple divisions above your current level, then it's determined by the other 90% of players. Of course that doesn't apply to people that are diamond and smurfing, since they can solo carry.

Rank determines how good you are at carrying 4 dumb dumbs.

You don't have to carry dumb dumbs by going 18-2 on Zed and split pushing. I'm a support main and carry. It's called teamwork. It's a team based game, if you play it that way you will have a much easier time.

I played this game in season 2 then 3. Season 2 I was a horrible player, I sucked I deserved to be where I was. I stopped playing ranked for a while because I blamed my team mates. My friend in class said that if you are better than the people you play against you will go up. He was at a decent rank. I then only played ranked, went from very low and climbed pretty damn well.

I then got accepted to college, said I don't really dont have much time for League and sold my account to my brother.

I started playing not too long ago, came to realize A) I lost a lot of mechanical skill B) The game has changed a hell of a lot. C) I am low rated, I didn't play much ranked this season. Except I know that now in season 6 I can climb to gold easily because I have been playing more.

You will go up if you are better than the people you are against.

I thought this arguement was about ranked. what does 3-38 have to do with ranked specifically.. you can also be 3-38 in aram, normals, ranked, dominion, 3's.

Odds are you dont win the 3-38. its NOT impossible, just very unlikely to win.

Some people spend more time working on their highschool stuff. I took a pretty big course load but since I was very productive at school had lots of spare time outside of school. Some people like to take 7 hours to write a paper. I prefer putting a 3 hour playlist cleaning it in 2 or 3 then editing the next day.

I am in college right now and manage to keep up with music, running, a bit of League, Warframe, Dragons Nest, my GF, and my house.

Some people manage their tome differently. Doesn't mean you have to go full salt on them.

Okay so how am I going "full salt"? I'm actually getting downvotes for disagreeing with the hive mind that ranked can be fun and people should give it another chance. The reason is because people are actually too scared to try it just because of what some of the community says about it

He said he doesn't play ranked because people dodge in ranked, he can't do this because it would take too long and he's on a tight schedule (claiming 15 minutes wasted if someone dodges).

If you can't play ranked because of a job, then you probably can't play normals either (that is, unless you only play aram).

actually im not missing the point. if you have a job, you have WAY less free time as a high school student than you do otherwise. normals, while it will have people dodge, is less likely to and the champ select time is way shorter. in ranked ive waited for up to 45 minutes just to get into a game because of all the people dodging last second. in norms, its rare for it to take more than 10.

I was in a normal and someone was talking about a Destiny stream, apparently the guy was doing stuff with subs. This guy in champ select told someone to dodge and I said "I don't think anyone is going to dodge, if you need to leave you might want to before we load in. No one wants an AFK."

This guy proceeded to tell me I am the reason this community is toxic, why no one likes this game. Why the community is trash. Then he goes and dodges with 1 second left.
