Oh they got their 5th tank item

Now watch them 1v1 anyone on the other team
''tanks so weak rito pls''

Two of those aren't even tanks.
And if no one has bought a LW item by the time they have 5 tank items, you deserve to get your ass beat.
Or at this point people can just grab
and shred their armor down to nothing, considering it stacks iirc.
It does not, one debuff. it stacks faster the more who buy it
Ah, thanks for the clarification.
Generally there is a difference between the role "tank" and the class "tank". Although Juggernauts are not considered "tanks" in the sense of Riots Class definition they do fullfill the roles that tanks in RPGs have.
Except that they provide more damage and less CC.
The classic role of "tanks" in RPGs is basically "most durable guy" which is honestly bland as soypast and I prefer it when the games try to better define these classic roles.
Otherwise we just keep having "tank" as the most disrespected classic role since all they need to do is "not die" which sounds super easy. Hell, sometimes gaming avoids the concept of a tank in general, emphasizing more in avoiding attacks. Giving the impression that the "damage" role is always the most skillful.
Idk, I guess I'm just tired of the classic "tank" stereotype being what leads people to think that all a tank needs to do is stand in front and look tough.
Well, if anyone that came from another game not called League would see Garen (big dude with a sword and loads of armor) they'd assume that he is a tank character - and rightfully so, as that is what he would be called in most games. Now, while League has it's own class system there is still no doubt that the word "tank" as a role is still useful.
After all it's only natural to call an Akali that builds sunfire into full resistance (read: tank) items would be referred to as "tank" Akali. She is able to soak damage up and cannot assassinate people the way assassins do. Using the term tank as a role feels right, should be right and is right.
if you're still trying to 1v1 people late-game with a champ who can't 1v1, that's just natural selection
/
and good positioning in teamfights = dead tank.
Also, nasus and darius are juggernauts so they will naturally have more damage in their kit than a tank however they will die faster because they arent as inherently tanky.
What item did you buy to counter them?
adc in 2017
Dude, if a tank wasn't able to 1v1 people, imagine how they'd be useless in a teamfight against not one, but FIVE people.
There's a reason why tanks are able to dish out damage, because otherwise people would just ignore them in teamfights.
I don't agree with how you worded it but I agree with the second point.
When someone says tanks are OP and 50% of the champions they list are juggernauts and not tanks. How embarrassing.
