What is the purpose of Rengar anymore?

I mained this champ in season 4 and he was my bread and butter. Now I feel like he doesn't do ANYTHING. I feel like half a champ when playing him. Why does my ultimate tell them when I'm coming? WHY CAN THEY SEE ME IN MY ULT. Why is my ult worse than twitch Q? What's the point??? Literally the whole point of the champion is you're supposed to sneak up on prey and kill them. Now he's just like a shitty wukong or hecarim. I couldn't even 1v1 a xayah who had less items than me she just popped ult and killed me.

This champion brings NOTHING to a game. His single target damage is sub bar compared to most other champions. I can assassinate with Teemo easier than I can with Rengar. His jungle clear is unexceptional. He lost his W resists and sustain so now he can't toplane anymore.

I probably have 100s of games of this champ, but since the rework I contribute more first timing Ekko than trying to play Rengar.

Oh no, my champion that can 100 to 0 from stealth isn't able to do it at all times, waaaaaaaaa.

So you basically just need too relearn the champ.

Because none of what you said is true for people who know what they're doing.

That's literally the point of the champion. Damage is so overtuned now you can do it with Twitch, Rengar, Wukong. Nocturne has the same effect. I see no reason to play Rengar over wukong. Ever since Duskblade was released wukong has just become Rengar but with ult on a 10 second cooldown.

I also get destroyed as rengar nowadays..just try conq bruiser top if ur really into him and wanna actually be able to duel instead of failing to 1 shot due to zhonyas and so on. Im so sick all of this shields and heals and stupid items that stop me from moving and dmging. I love his playstyle of going in and just fighting. I get so pumped when he screams "COME ON" or "LETS FIGHT" with w. That just isnt the case anymore.

i miss the predator theme rengar because of old bonetooth that can stack up to 20+ and bonus range of leaping and i miss the old ult the real predator style ult it can be a escape tool or stalking to enemy and many more i miss the 2 the passive and predator ult i hope RIOT will bring it back or buffs
