so why does xin get to do everything aatrox down but 3x better.

undodgable knockup, knockback ult that does dmg and gives tank stats. crit every 3rd attack, insane healing every 3rd hit, crazy attack speed steriod. and a point and click slow/blink.

what does aatrox have? unreliable knockup with low dmg and high cooldown. ult that does very short range dmg and gives some attack speed and increased attack range... but cant ever actually hit using it because his movespeed is very slow. his on hit dmg/heal is so subpar to xin's it isnt even a fair comparison. without a RELIABLE attack speed steroid or high base attack speed, (supposed to be trynds mentor/creator, but no where near as fast). and instead of a point a click slow. you get a slow moving narrowing beam that does a minor slow and dmg that is easilly avoidable.

td;dr: xin either needs to be nerfed or aatrox buffed up to xin/trynd lvls. because atm he is so laughably weak it is a tragedy.

With the way you described Xin, I could make any champion sound OP, even Aatrox.

Wow, Aatrox gets a long range dash with damage and an AoE knockup rolled into a single basic ability, his Q! And it scales with 110% total AD! Xin Zhao's Q is only a single target knock up, has no dash, and it only scales with 20% total AD! Also, Aatrox can use his Q to escape, meanwhile once Xin goes in, he's stuck there until he dies!

Aatrox's W heals him every third hit for 90 hp and has a 0.5 second, and it scales with missing health! Meanwhile, Xin Zhao's W only heals for 50 hp and it scales with AP, which no one really builds on him seriously!

Aatrox's E is a long range 50% slow with damage that scales with AD! Meanwhile Xin Zhao's E only has a 45% slow, and it also puts him in melee range so he's gonna be in much more danger than Aatrox, and the kicker is that it scales with AP again!

Aatrox's R does 400 AoE magic damage, which means it goes right through any armor that the enemies build. Plus it reliably gives him more range and attack speed! Xin Zhao's ult only does 275 AoE damage, and it's physical damage, which means Armor renders a lot of that damage useless already! Plus you have to hit multiple enemies to even get the extra armor and magic resist, so it's super unreliable, unlike Aatrox who gets his extra stats just by pressing R with no conditions.

And that's not even taking into account Aatrox's passive! He gets a Guardian Angel, extra AD, and even MORE attack speed! With his ult and passive, Aatrox gets 110% extra attack speed, while Xin only gets an extra 60%. Talk about a loaded kit!

tldr: Either Aatrox needs a nerf or Xin Zhao needs a buff! Xin Zhao is so laughably weak that it's a tragedy!

except you messed up xins q. it deals a TOTAL of 380% of his total ad and procs in hits over the 3 attacks. also xin has much higher movespeed and BASE attack speed. aatrox base attack speed and long attack animation means while he MIGHT get 110% attack speed from his ult plus passive. he attacks WAY slower then xins 60% attack speed that has a low cd.

also you missed the fact that passively xin crits every 3rd auto. and that his ult while not doing much dmg is a long range knockback with a .5 second stun attached that throws everyone but his current target away from him. which is also his escape tool.

Where'd you pull that 380% from? Xin's Q only has a +20% AD scaling on its effect per attack, so even if you add Xin's base AA damage, it would still only be 360% total. Besides, why would you even count Xin's base auto-attack damage in his Q? Whether Xin Q's or not, he can auto-attack, and so can Aatrox. You said Xin can proc on-hits with his auto-attacks? So can Aatrox. In fact, every champion can proc on-hits with their auto-attacks.

If Xin has to attack thrice to get that damage after using Q, then why wouldn't you also count Aatrox's auto-attacks after using Q? If Xin Q + 3 auto-attacks = 360% total AD scaling, then Aatrox Q + 3 auto-attacks = 410% total AD scaling.

Barring all that, my main point wasn't to say that Aatrox was more OP than Xin. My main point is that the way you described Xin was misleading and that anybody could make any champion sound OP with your descriptions.

Xin doesn't have a ranged slow, cannot escape over walls unless has words + a jungle camp is present, no revive. Not saying aatrox isn't bad but if you check the pbe there buffing his % heal.

eh they need to buff 2 things to make aatrox viable. he needs his attack speed buff permanent like diana's. and needs a fizz like untargetability on his q

also the issue with his %heal is that it is based off his max hp. which if you try building him tank he does no dmg and if you build dmg he is squishy and dies in 3 hits.

also xin doesnet need to escape over walls. he just kills everyone near him and if he actually has to escape he can just flash.

Xin isn't op at all. He has no real escape making him a "one commitment" only champ. He is only good for killing but lacks any real cc besides his knockup. Tbh xin is good for low elo but terrible for the top because he is a very straightforward champion. You right click an enemy and use your abilities to gap close or enhancd your autos. Xin is a fun champion to me when im just tired and want a more simple playstyle. Aatrox is similar but takes a bit more practice to get the hang of his mechanics.

Tl;dr Xin is not op. Aatrox and xin fullfill the same role but one has a much higher skill floor than the other.

stat comparisons: Aatrox: HEALTH 580 – 2025 ATTACK DAMAGE 60.4 – 115 HEALTH REGEN. 6.59 – 15.1 ATTACK SPEED [*] 0.651 (+ 0 – 51%) BLOOD 100 ARMOR 24.4 – 89 USES HEALTH MAGIC RESIST. 32.1 – 53.4 MELEE 150 (very low attack range wow) MOVE. SPEED 345

Xin: HEALTH 600 – 2164 ATTACK DAMAGE 57.5 – 114 HEALTH REGEN. 8.18 – 20.1 ATTACK SPEED [*] 0.676 (+ 0 – 44.2%) MANA 274 – 869 ARMOR 25.9 – 85.4 MANA REGEN. 7.25 – 14.9 MAGIC RESIST. 32.1 – 53.4 MELEE 175 MOVE. SPEED 345

huh ok he has same movespeed. odd. still EVERYTHING ELSE is lower. besides hp regen. but that is basically his mana regen converted to hp regen instead.

can someone run the lvl 18 stats for attack speed please? i keep gettiing aatrox attack speed as over 2.0 with passive plus ult. and i know that is not right.
