Rengar Ultimate

After playing Rengar for a bit, he easily has became one of my favorite champs in the game. But how your position can be revealed feels unnecessary and cheap. My engage has been stopped short because a simple kayne knock up and countless other cc abilities can hit Rengar before he can even finish his leap out of his ult. Why his position can be revealed due to proximity is stupid, the NEW AKALI her position in her smoke cloud that she has up way more in the cd of rengars ult cd can completely hide her regardless of proximity. (I'm not 100% with what I'm about to say, fact check please) Kha Zix ult he, stays completely invisible. Coming from a S3 player it sounds like I'm just a not good enough but I just wanted to get it off my chest.

Rengar ult lasts much longer then either of those other ones you mentioned. It's a different kind of stealth. In League, there's 3 (well, more like 2.5) kinds of stealth:

There's "camouflage", which is long duration stealth and can be revealed by control wards. They will also reveal themselves when they get close to an enemy. There are only 4 instances of camouflage: Pyke stealth, Twitch stealth, Rengar ult, and Eve passive.

"Invisibility" is in combat stealth that does not get revealed by control wards or proximity. They only get revealed by turrets and true sight. These are generally very short duration, and are used for in combat maneuverability, instead of long distance travel like camouflage. Examples are Kha'Zix ult, Vayne Tumble during ult, Talon ult, and Teemo passive (his is kinda special though, since it lasts indefinitely, but only if he isn't moving)

The 3rd kind (which is more of just a branch of Invisibility) is "Obscured". This only exists on Akali's Twilight Shroud. You can be revealed by true sight, but you are untargetable by any direct click abilities (you do still get hit by AoE and auto-targeted damage)

im a silver rengar main and yeah i dont really like this either but i feel like he would be a little too frustrating to play against if his ult was like k6 or akali. Sure poeple can stop you before you can get ur leap off but remember that if you do get your leap off you can do your entire combo in one animation which is pretty op.

If you land that ult, the person you landed on is going to be dead in one animation before they even have an opportunity to flash. If you are on them, they just took twice the amount of damage that is in their HP bar. I don't really feel like it's much to ask for people who have to deal with that to have some sort of way to prevent it from happening.
