Turn off Mega Gnar

Somehow. I have used Gnar a few times and find that Mini>Mega- vastly better. Mini has range and speed, and the W passive hyper. 14% of your hp goes down every 3 shots when maxed + my damage. I have pulled stunts on my few ARAM (yes ARAM, I don't own it yet) matches where I knock out 3 people at once before I get triggered into Mega. Then the fun stops. Then I hide in a bush. Its the same idea as Vayne, though not scaled so strongly. Finding a champ that I build almost NO damage into is amazing. I pull full attack speed Gnar. Gnar item 3085 item 3091 item 3115 item 3153 item 3006 item 3087

=/ I would buy Gnar for keeps IF I could control Mega to Mini morphing in the sense that champs like Nidalee can go from human to cougar at will. =/ Thats all that makes me hate Gnar, otherwise fantastically fun hit and run character.

Not being able to control transformation is kind of his thing.

Being able to make the best of each form is what will make or break players.

So maybe you should actually learn to play him? Yes, he's a little tougher to use correctly but used right he can be a crazy amount of on demand cc turning Gnar from a hit and run champ into a hit and HIT champ.

And obviously any melee form is gonna be weaker in HA. HA is one extended lane phase where anti interactive ranged overlords will always win.

In my experience in playing Gnar in the PBE knowing when to attack and controlling the rage meter will definitely affect your lane, limiting your attacks to LA's is required due to the fact you may be poking the enemy with your W's passive in order to continue farming and letting the lane push while your rage meter decreases allowing you to continue in Mini-Gnar form, its a matter of patience really, and when the enemy presses on your tower, Mega-Gnar on him to pressure him off and with the extra damage you have you'll grab your cs with no trouble whatsoever.

Just practice and you'll learn how to control him well. Good Luck.
