So why is stopwatch getting nerfed while also affecting Zhonya?

To be honest, I'm just here wondering how this is even worth nerfing and with pretty much the wrong reasons that I see every day.

"It's broken!"

First off, it's not broken if it works as intended. Broken means it's a bug. Pick a proper word for it. While I understand the meaning behind it, then revive, teleporting, healing, are also broken.

"It's toxic"

How?

"My combos get ruined!"

Well boo hoo. Ever heard of something called a counter? Or is that toxic too and want an easy walk at the park?

"It's 1 click of a button."

EVERYTHING IS AT A CLICK OF A BUTTON. The only difference you're is how many and at what order.

With how the change is going to be, this one is not good. 120 seconds reduced per kill? This will be used even more and make a clown fiesta into a pennywise fiesta. This will just be a cheap version of league of stopwatch. And since Zhonya will be like 15% longer to use, defensive items will be even more lacking especially for mage items let alone the immobile. At least nerf damage on everything. The 1 shot fiestas make stopwatch even worthless anyway.

No. You are confusing "broken" with "bugged"

Ok, how can I counter stopwatch?

I would seriously prefer stopwatch just be removed entirely. It's just unfun and frustrating to go in on somebody (literally anybody since anyone can take it) and "OOPS, they had their stopwatch, get fucked."

That's not good gameplay. That is being punished for playing actively which is not something you ever do. You punish BAD proactive play, not proactive play in general, which is what Stopwatch is doing improperly.

The stop watch nerf is addressing the fact that zhonyas is super cheap and making it harder to run as a rush item for motherduckers like theseMordekaiser Diana Ekko Sylas

It's broken in the sense that it breaks the game. but since "causes the game to be broken" sounds bad you just say "Stopwatch is broken."

Broken means it's a bug. Pick a proper word for it. While I understand the meaning behind it, then revive, teleporting, healing, are also broken.

Something not working properly is just ONE definition for "broken", and it's generally not common usage in League. Another, more commonly-used definition for League (and games as a whole) is "overpowered to the point where it ceases to be fair". Something with a 51-52% winrate and 8% pickrate is overpowered, but it's not overpowered enough to be considered broken. The more common term for something not functioning correctly in all video games is "bugged". A bug can also be broken when exploited (such as if Azir's Q suddenly did 10x the damage if he cast it when a soldier died) but that is not always the case (If, say, Azir's Q did 1/10th of its damage if cast when a soldier died).

First off, it's not broken if it works as intended.

Something can do its intended thing too well, or be too good at what it does.

Also, you failed to address the actual reasons for nerfs or make an argument against them. You used the wrong definition of a word and made a few strawman arguments. That's it.

I'll just leave a link to a post below where someone said that hourglass doesn't help you out and I'm trying to tell the person that hourglass does indeed help you out in more ways than you can count and that hourglass is stupidly broken op.
