free dodge when strangers ban your champ

The title pretty much says it all. I don't see why I should lose LP, or even more stupid, a promo game, just because some tilted idiot bans my champ. Who wants to play with someone who banned their champion? So here's a very simple fix : free dodge when a random stranger bans your champ. Obv not with premades, and it might need some tweaking (esp for higher elos where people ellaborate sneaky cheating schemes), but here's the main idea. What do you think?

This seems like a fair idea and an appropriate check. You can still ban your teammate's pick, and only run the risk of having the game dodged by a disadvantaged teammate. Seems like nobody loses.

This might tend to encourage people to ban their teammates' champions, on the defense that "the teammate can now dodge the game with penalty, so why not?"

Dodge timer should still apply, as with norms.

if you can only play ONE champion then you shouldn't be playing ranked at all

Obviously. Now back to the topic, which is : if your team bans the champ you selected, you should be allowed to dodge without penalty, where nobody said they could play one champ only

Funny how people will spam "just be a decent human being, don't be toxic", and then feel totally fine with banning their teammate"s champion. Hypocrisy at its worst. Personally, you ban my champ, you get a loss. Unless you convince me it was an accident.

The best part about this is how many people defend trolls and griefers and people who afk or rage quit all the time... and then talk about how terrible it is to say a naughty word in chat and how you should be banned... and then immediately say that the perfect defense is just mute them... Yet, if that solves all the problems, why should they be banned? The level of doublethink required to exist this way is hilarious. Or, more likely, hypocrisy is what it is. Either way, I am not sure how easy it would be to balance doing this. However, there is a clear indicator that the champion has been selected by a teammate. Penalties should be issued for this.

not sure what game you're playing, and who can't live with 1 ban, but on this account I have like 30 champs and, in bronze, there's only a handful of champions I want to play. Even if I had all champs, I'm not playing with someone who abuses its ban to deny me the champion I wanted to play. Troll 100% of the time.

Banning a champion you don't want to play against OR WITH is a perfectly good reason to ban.

Yeah it's a great idea to piss off your allies before the game even started, and to deny them the tool they feel most confident with. Smartest strategy ever.

If someone is pissed off by that chances are they would sooner or later be pissed off about something might as well get it over with from the get go. It's one champ, there are 144 others to pick from.

yeah, I guess having a backbone is so overrated xD but I'm glad you take it that way, your allies will know they can take your farm ("it's just 10 creeps, there are 1500 others") and tell you how to play in the lobby, just to "get it over with"
