Increased CD on Chogath ult

Being on both sides of it, early game its hard to recover when you die to Cho's ult respawn and then die to Cho's ult again immediately. Dont just say play passively because that true damage is a good chunk even under a turret.

Sounds like the problem is with you. Cho doesn't have the mana early game to spam his abilities and you should be avoiding most of his skillshots to begin with. So if you're dying to him, you are the problem.

Yeah but it doesn't really matter when he can start with some biscuits and his passive and sit in lane all day until he hits 6....

I mean you can't honestly say most Top champions that would go against Cho pre-6 can "easily avoid" his knockup.

Why are you letting him when pre-6 cho is extremely vulnerable to both ganks and ranged harass?

That's pretty much what I'm saying. Putting champs with mobility skills aside, try starting with boots and four pots. If you're still having issues, try one or all of the following:

  1. Upgrading your boots early.
  2. Buying a basic MR item to reduce the effectiveness of his poke.
  3. Buying a basic health item to reduce his ability to combo you down.

All of these options are useful for toplane champions, since everyone builds boots and most top laners have items that give them MR or health.

Most importantly, don't sit in lane if he can combo you. Call your jungle to cover and go back. Cho isn't going to waste his feast on a champion early game unless he thinks he can secure a kill.

You can also avoid your problems in champ select if you know you'll be facing a Cho by picking someone tanky with sustain. Honestly, if you enjoy playing Nasus, Cho top is a good time to play him. The lane basically turns into a farming lane, which Nasus wins due to scaling.
