Remove penalties

Riot, please remove penalties from leaving a ranked room so people can freely choose what team they want to play in and to avoid trolls most importantly. now if you have a troll or some1 negative you have no choise but to play or restart the damn client. i also observe that if some1 leaves your set with the same team again, so the argument of less time to wait is irrelavent at this point. let people play with teams they feel confident in and have fun. since season 3 toxic players have increased not decreased.

You cannot force people to play good. honor rewards and all that jazz means and prevents nothing.

and please stop with the 'dont get tilted' nonsense, im not a robot nor a psychopath nor numb to not feel frustrated.

I feel like even the League community for the most part has gotten used to the idea that the onus of the game working is not on the disruptive person, but on the person who complains, which is a big problem.

When somebody is keen on inting with Nunu in ranked, and makes that intent clear, theyre not going to dodge. Theyre not going to lose LP. And if theyre smart enough in game, the report system might not even flag them.

The pressure to dodge is then placed on somebody else, possibly even in promos. That person then has to suffer personal loss based on the actions of another player, who they can't even report (unless they thought fast and took screenshots of the pregame) since they forced them to dodge rather than suffer through the game, and then the player who dodged is penalized for dodging, while the player who threatens int gets off without issue.

It's high time we change the system and allow people an easy, non-punitive way to get out of toxic environments.

I couldn't agree more. I've been in plenty of those pre-game champ selects where IMMEDIATELY some asshole shows the 'igaf about anyone else' sentiment and you just KNOW it's gonna be either a loss or an uphill game trying to work with someone who clearly is going to be disrespectful the whole time.

Even better- add that, then ALSO add the ability to report someone as negative attitude or uncooperative in pre-game champ select as you leave. People need to be taught to respect others.

I don't disagree, but....

For every post like this, there is a post about too many dodges. Which do you fix?
It eliminates the need for bans. I can have a list of champions I willing to play against and dodge if I don't get it. Same with teammates.
What's to stop someone from trolling? Join a game and dodge while bored and watching tv. No penalties so no worries.

i think the community is big enough for some1 to worrie about dodge amounts, but in the end you will atleast play in a desired game, and also i think this wuld lead people to communicate more, becouse when your fate depends on your teammates from the very start, you think twice before trollin. with all the controll being thrown at the client, which is blind, trolls can abuse the system how they want, with a clear system you can do whatever and find loopholes. when people on the spot judge you, you dont have that comfort. also i dont see how this wuld make bans and such meaningless? if some1 trolls in game anyway, you just report them as usual. i remember in MU, people who kill other people get marked and get theyr names red. so why not do that here? this wuld be even more easy for riot, just mark leavers, feeders, trolls, and so on. and when you see such person in your room you kick him and thats that. this is litteraly the most easy way to deal with this. and perhaps you add an option for marked people to play with other marked ones and redeem themselvs or in some such way. there are ways, the current way is absolute anti community.
