Weird ELO

So recently I've been in an interesting spot ELO wise. Over the course of the past 10-12 games, I've noticed that I've been placed in a lane against someone in Gold 4 all the way up to Plat 4, while I get players in low Bronze on my own team. I'm Silver 4 in Solo and Bronze 1 in Flex, so I don't know why this would be happening. I have a friend I do occasionally play with who is Plat 3 and I know that might be affecting it to some extent, but why would that make it so the teammates I have are in my ELO, but the players on the other team are my friends ELO? Has anyone else experienced this?
