mages... ya those things that barely get played if yasuo or zed isnt banned. the new items helped this assassin carrys enough... give mages some freaking love espacally immobile ones with no escape.... playing against these champions is just toxic...

I still don't understand why the two masteries that work on mages also have dual functionality with ad champions. Both death fire touch and thunder lord's have ad scaling yet the two ad ones (whose names I don't remember) don't do jack shit for ap champs
mages seem to perform better than ad champs mid right now, and the masteries may seem numerical biased towards ad, but they aren't as they are magical damage, and ap champs will get magic pen while ad champs don't.
They are working on immobile mages as their next big project. Outside of Zed and Yasuo, how many ad mids do you see?
ARE THESE BOARDS REALLY THAT DUMB Top 10 pickrates in mid lane have 8 AP champs and 2 AD champs. Yeah, nice AD mid meta Kappa.
I agree that the Masteries often favor AD slightly, but that doesn't mean that the mages are too weak to compete. Because they aren't. We still see them and they still do quite well.
I wouldn't say Mages are exactly weak, but it just sucks that as an AP it's just "Oh do I take Thunderlord's or DFT hmmmm" meanwhile ADs have a vast array of choices (all 3 Ferocity keystones and Thunderlord's) including in the resolve tree for some survivability+damage (Grasp of the undying).
