8.4 made matchmaking 10x more awful than it already was.

First 2 games got 4 feeder/dc/surrender vote spammers vs a full team of people playing like gold or plat level. I'm in bronze. Should not be that lopsided. And its not like 1 or 2 enemy the ENTIRE team playing at high gold level. Should I just not play ranked which means not playing at all because norms are near impossible to get an anywhere near close to even game. What am I missing about this new patch???? I see a trend of matchmaking becoming less balanced with each new patch but from 8.3 to 8.4 is like the deterioration of 7.3 to 8.3.

My games go two ways. I either instawin or instalose. None of my impact ever determines my game it's legit just a diceroll at this point. It's legit been like this all week.

8.4 did not change matchmaking. 8.4 changed the way games progress potentially leading to worse game quality. We have to stop blaming matchmaking and focus on the actual gameplay problems which have caused the changes in game quality.

everyone is B3-B5 in those games. SO unless you got unlucky and were against a bunch of smurfs, something doesn't pan out.

Stomping or being stomped. That's how their matchmaking works :P Just look at how many balanced games you have on average.
