The point might be made more clear by hovering the players that placed 2 or 3 wards all game, rather than the Bard (who likely bought Sightstone and thus isn't the target of the PSAs).

This. THIS is a pain in the ass to deal with as a support, especially when you get bitched at for there not being enough vision. I can only drop three friggin wards.

If this were season 3, I could light the whole damn map up like a christmas tree by myself. But now? The three ward limit practically requires that the team picks up the tab. I can't do it myself anymore. You got a trinket, fucking use it.

It's like nobody's bothered to see the point here. The whole "PSA Sightstone" is starting to turn into a circlejerk and nobody's willing to actually discuss.

But this incredibly specific anecdote seems to be the focus of your comment.

I apologize for coming across as aggressive here, but that way of thinking is the point of my post. Players not using trinkets is probably a bit more common than the garbage Lux 'support,' and both are rather annoying.

yes other people not warding is an issue. but its MORE of an issue of the support had placed only those 10 wards

I dunno, four people not warding seems to have a bigger impact that one person. Sure, a sightstone alone has more power than a single trinket, but four trinkets?

Good warding habits should be stressed, but it seems like people only care about one role doing it.

i know. why are you trying to argue with me... we both agree.. i am just saying if only ONE of the players on you team didn't ward i would rather any other player than the support.. obviously EVERYONE needs to ward AND needs to REMOVE enemy vision.

the people who say "its everyone job to ward" are 100% correct.

the people who use that as an excuse to not just a sightstone as support need to be permabanned.

as a player who used to nidalee support back in season 3 and 4... i know where u are coming from.. and i will admit he donest need a sightstone as much or as early.. (normally a sightysont eshould be bought right after your 500 gold income item upgrade (which should be the first thing u buy on your first back) so 2nd back (or third if u don't have the gold yet) you should have a sightstone.

normally thats around the 8 min mark.

champs that have other forms of vision or even adc that provide vision (like Kalista Ashe Jhin / Caitlyn traps ) can or off meta support like Teemo Shaco Nidalee it can sometimes be acceptable to DELAY the sight stone...
