Zed's and Fizz's laugh basically? I agree.

But Zed has the best laugh in the game!

Best laugh Trolliest laugh*

Spizzle90001 votes

I'd have to agree, but when a Zed spams laugh after he kills you it quite literally makes me want to shove a large quantity of razor blades down their throat and hit their neck with a baseball bat repeatedly while stomping on their stomach and beating them with a fish.

You are forgetting nunu bot

Sir Yamazuki5 votes

It already mutes their emotes.

It already mutes their emotes.

I get the feeling he or she is probably referring to the emote animation as well.

I agree with this. It's not so much that it even makes me angry when someone does it, I just don't want to have to hear an eternity of a laugh or the SHING! of the mastery emote, over, and over, and over again. I feel it's poor sportsmanship to spam like that anyway, but that's on the player. Being able to just mute the sound makes it even easier to ignore.

be the better man and rise above being baited :^)

Spizzle90001 votes

Let's be honest though: doesn't Zed's or Fizz's laugh ever get you salty? Like, Fizz is ridiculously annoying to play against (some would also argue Zed is too, although I beg to differ), but that laugh. . .

Ego Sum Redemit1 votes

No, it really doesn't. and the funnier thing is, when you DO ignore those people and not get baited, they actually end up getting salty because you won't play their immature game. Seriously, I've seen plenty of guys (and gals, I'm sure) get ahead in lane, then start talking crap in all chat and BMing and all that, get no response, then get so upset that they throw. The thing we often forget is that the people who throw by feeding an flaming don't magically get a maturity boost when they're winning. A lot of people implode on themselves and throw like crazy if you just keep a level head and stay focused on just playing the game.

na, maybe teemo/blitz becuase of the way they screw me over, and how most of the players are also bm assholes who specifcally go for me or do little bs bm things when they see I get salty against those champs (talking about normals) but besides that id just laugh/taunt bck and focus on beating an enemy instead get salty

LOL i love doing the mastery emote thing after i kill someone

I only use the mastery emote after I do something horribly wrong

This should be the new custom.

You really want to mute people's masteries, the thing that Riot introduced to show hat you have played this champion extensively, with the ONLY function it ever serving is to have some form of gloating and you want to mute it? On top of it, you don't want them dancing, joking or laughing?

This is easily the most pettiest demand I've seen on boards. :/ I mean, if you asked to mute the constant pings certain players do, I'd get it.

Anidan1 votes

Not really petty when people take that gloating and shove it right into the unsportsmanlike behavior column. If I had to be honest, the emote being a thing at all seems pretty stupid to me. Spamming emotes, last I recall, is a reportable form of harassment - and so they added in another emote that they damn well knew people were going to use for that same exact purpose.

And considering that most of those emotes are for the benefit of the player doing them (at least they'll get to think the opponent didn't mute them so they can see them gloating or having miscellaneous fun via dancing) having muting disable that animation for the player that muted them doesn't seem like much of a big deal.

I've seen far more petty. To say you haven't simply means you haven't been on the boards or the old forums very long.. Trust me, it gets worse.

Whining on the forums is silly. Just play and beat them.

AHRl S P E C T1 votes

Yes it does, it should anyway.

Tolna1 votes

Some champs bypass traditional mutes actually. Heimer, and Nasus mostly, there may be a few others.

Luckily most of the popular champs can be.

Glad it infuriates you because I wouldn't want you controlling my settings

Dumbest post of the day.

Hollow Miracles1 votes

It absolutely should. There's no reason why muting shouldn't do this. If you're having a tough time in the game and you want to mute someone/multiple people, they shouldn't be able to spam mastery and other emotes to continue being obnoxious/toxic. The problem lies in the fact that you can't simply stop them from doing it, because that would be giving you a measure of control over other players. I guess the best we could hope for is that the sound from any of their taunt/joke/etc would be muted. Better than nothing, I guess.

I do agree with this and it makes no sense it doesnt, but I couldnt help laughing at this post.

Sounds like you got hardcore emoted

Darkwind1 votes

Well, you can turn off "voice volume" under sound...

Lorinne2 votes

But that turns off your champions' voice, as well, in addition to global voice sounds that signify large attacks.

AND PINGS!!! Oh my god. If someone can't speak to you but they are mad, every second they get they will ping you as much as possible. Sooooooo annoying.

Catching enemies with r and spamming ctrl+6 as Bard is best felling ever.

"muh safe space" bunch of kids playing this game. Stay salty

Krigjer1 votes

I wonder if it's a client-side option because I've had friends claim that muting doesn't stop laughs and emotes, yet the first thing I do when someone starts to spam is mute them (because it works).

L Psy Kongroo1 votes

Anyone who disagrees with this being a thing obviously hasn't played vs. Heimerdinger recently...........

Can we also mute their pings...
