Azir turret skin, MASSIVE hitbox

Was playing a game today, fought azir under his turret, woulda won, except he was behind his massive, i mean MASSIVE turret hitbox and i couldn't click him to save my life... literally. normal turrets can only be clicked at their base, where champs cant be click body blocked. Can we do the same with that ridiculous turret skin?
