Riot, we need a mercy rule or something for when we are held hostage in game

I don't know about you guys, but I seriously hate it when BOTH teams are made up of trolls, and both sides are prolonging the game on purpose as a form of grieving. Just now, played a 50+ minute match because my team refused to surrender, and enemy team refused to take structures. Literally would stand next to open inhibitor and not attack it. We were also down by like ~20-30 kills and maybe ~4-5 turrets and two inhibitors down while enemy didn't have a single one exposed.

But if I afk or quit a game like this? I risk punishment. This really needs to be addressed.

Your team isnt trolling by refusing to surrender. You are not "being held hostage". You cant be a hostage to a situation you agreed to by clicking play.

If your team members were champions like nasus, vlad, sion and the enemy veigar etc etc and both stack champions forced the game to go on for 2+ hrs, yeah, thats being held hostage. Thats happened all of like 7 times in all of league's history, and the game already has some built in protection for that because if you leave that game you can queue for another instead of having to wait for it to end.

Then just keep pushing on your own? If the enemy is just standing in plain sight doing nothing then go rush the enemy base. Eventually you will win or they will get bored and win. Also just report them and send a support ticket explaining the situation.
