Is there any chance of the old Kog'Maw coming back?

It goes without saying that it is more optimal to use an on-hit oriented build on Kog'Maw than to build him as you might build an ad carry, and that Kog'Maw is in an awful state right now. I regret not buying him before he was reworked and playing him when I had the chance.
