i really like some of the old splash arts and models, especially lux's splash art. what would be cool is if there was a nostalgia/retro patch where for a certain time period the map, champion models, splash arts, and all visuals were reverted to the way it was back in season 1.

Why restrict it only to visuals? I see an option for Riot to make money off of this Nostalgia Day/Week. I've whined enough about Twitch being ruined, but the only thing I've yet to get over is his new voice. I would seriously pay RP for the option to replace his voice with the old one.
Think about it, how many people would want the old Nasus voice back? Some people liked the high pitched squeak Heimer's voice had. It doesn't even have to be global, it could be only for your ears if clarity is a problem for new players that don't recognize the older sounds.
