Bought Hecarim and...
I have no regrets, this guy is so fun. Runic Echo tank is seems to be my best choice for him, better than warrior.

Babo Migug1 votesecho is bad on him lol. The only stat from it that is actually doing anything is the mms which gets covered if you build him right... the ap is negligible and doesnt help more than warrior.

As far as Runic Echoes it's still the better option from any other jungle item in my opinion, he has no mana issues with it, the MS is awesome, and keep in mind his ultimate runs a 100% AP ratio, while his W has a 20% per second making it an 80% ratio total. So it's not nearly as poor of an item as you may think.
He benefits from the following:
Q would get 36 dmg from Warrior
W would get 48 damage from Runic Echoes
E would get between 30 and 60 damage from Warrior
R would get 60 damage from Runic Echoes
There's actually a Challenger player named Valkrin who used to run Runeglaive Hecarim, and has played Runic Echoes Hecarim a few times as well. Not so much any longer after the Hecarim nerfs, but he's run it a few times.

Serevas1 voteslol I fail to understand why him being a streamer eliminates the fact that he's still a challenger level player and has been top rated elo since the beginning of the game. He was also top 10 for a good part of last season playing things like Runeglaive Hecarim.
Other than Valkrin, please do show me an example of a high elo player that even plays jungle Hecarim. My guess is that you'll be hard pressed to find one at all.
By your logic, Nightblue3, Dyrus, Meteos, imaqtpie, Santorin, Scarra, IWDominate, etc. All have invalid opinions on what's good and/or viable in the game because they stream. That's actually completely insane.
