When Is S7 Coming Out?
I thought it only went up to x.10, yet it's 6.11 rn :/ [zombie-nunu-bummed]

We're in the mid to late season right now, still quite a lot of months left before S7.
Those aren't decimals, they are just an identification system. "6" is the season, "11" is the patch number
Seasons are a whole year, split between the regular ranked season and pre-season. Pre-season being from around mid-November to mid-January. You'll see around 24 patches (x.1-x.24 etc.) with patches every 2 weeks. Pre-season patches are after ranked rewards are handed out and will add a whole lot of things that will be used the next season but still count as the same season.
You can check out prior patch info here; http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Patch Prior to season 3 they used a less easily identifiable system for patch numbers, they were just build numbers with no seasonal identifier and more spontaneous patches I guess.
