I keep seeing these threads about "Riot finally killed volibear!" but...

In all honestly this pre season hasn't changed him much win rate wise..

Here is his win rate now: https://gyazo.com/082a13217cf44eaa38b78043f0c3cf09.png 46.77 %

Here it was last month: https://gyazo.com/ba4522618c4711e157f1064ee84d1cc1.png 47.51 %

It went down around 1% , i also saw some threads where it said "VOLI HAS A 41% win rate", I would like to see where those statistics come from.

In all honestly guys, the champ is gonna be trash until he gets a rework. Simple as that. Im prepared to be downvoted to the ground by a bunch of butthurt people, but its its the boards i expect nothing less :P

if you think about it, out of all games in korea, 1% is a massive amount of games lost.

Personally I think Volibear is in a decent spot he just has the same problem a good amount of champions do, low playrates.

A good majority of the champions the community thinks are in dire need of reworks(Morde, Skarner, Voli, and Olaf in some cases) have rather low playrates because nobody wants to take the time to try and get them to work and those that do use that champion really well and are in high elo. Then you have champions who don't really need reworks but have low playrates like Liss, Sol, Karthus and Poppy. All those champions may have a low playrate but they still manage to stay close to 50% win rate.

Probably rambled more about playrates then winrates but point still is. Volibear is still perfectly capable of performing well and even though he needs a rework he can still do his job and more but it's all dependent on the person playing him.
