High competitive elo

I'm high gold but watching the lcs and other high elo games i noticed that nasus and darius are never played as top lanes. I know they dont exactly have the best team/objective control as a few of the other top laners but nasus is hard to shut down and becomes a brute and darius is an absouslt power house and his e is inescapable, even if you flash the e or use a dash you are then instatnly pulled back to him so i feel like that would a pretty strong and scary front liner champ. Anyways just been on my mind a little bit and would like to know the main reason why they are not played.

darius has no mobility, and players outside of the ranks know how to shutdown nasus early and deny him farm

Nasus is actually bad late game.

He can never get past the LCS front line. Remember that his damage doesn't cap theoretically (it does at about 500-600 stacks realistically) but his tankiness does, and most of all, he has no gapcloser, so he has to eat ALOT of damage to even get to the ADC. Otherwise he'll just be hitting front like for ~400 damage a Q, which is substantial, but still less than most ADCs. Problem is, he won't be hitting that Q often since he'll get melted by ranged damage and AOE fast.

Yeah i can understand that with nasus and at my elo he ends up being the hardest counter to himself becuase he never leaves the top lane. But that wither is freaking stupid with the 95% slow and also an attack speed reduction. Besides darius low mobility what else does he have for a downfall becuase in all my games no one can trade with him early game and just ends up dominating and zoning my top laner. Plus like i mentioned the inescapable e is a good way to start a fight with an advantage.
