Jungle nerf further limits jungle champion pool

The recent jungle nerf only creates a larger gap when it comes to "current meta junglers" and everyone else. The jungle camps this patch are EXTREMELY punishing to champions without strong aoe damage or very heavy single target damage, and now they give less XP, making it even harder for champions that lack this.

It's not terrible for "traditional" jungle champions, but if you wish to play a non-standard jungler you are just going to put yourself significantly behind.

Maybe this is the direction Riot wants to go, but taking away choice is not generally a positive in my experience.

I agree which is why I was confused when the new WW (a very iconic jungler) has zero AoE clear in his kit.

I completely agree OP. These changes actually benefit the champions that like to gank at level 3 such as shaco, vi, etc. My favorite jungler as been nocturne and I'm assuming with level 4 taking longer, level 6 will take longer as well? If that's the case he may become even harder to play than he already is.

The nerf was necessary though. I'm a jungle main, and have an 80% winrate on Rek'Sai in D5 purely from smart pathing and counterjungling. I have had games this season where I have hit level 18 before 30 minutes on plenty of champions such as Nidalee, Rek'Sai, Lee Sin, Riven, etc. Jungle is stupid OP and I'm glad they are nerfing it.
