seriously! didnt they just nail it with thast irelia rework? from the unique kit design to the smoothnes of the attacks isnt it just great? this is totally what im looking for. onco you play her youll understand:

Azadethe1 votesIt's not hard at all once she R's. Everyone's premarked, and if they try to exit her R , take huge damage + are slowed 60% AND they are disarmed, which means any attack skills go gray. Then she just uses Q and W to clean up whoever hasn't died yet.... usually the adc/support/mages are already dead, and Q and W will finish off the fighters/tanks.

If a five man group is clumping close enough together to allow Irelia to stun all of them, their positioning is objectively horrible and they deserve to lose that fight.
Stunning one person is finicky. Stunning two people is difficult, but still possible. Any stun involving three or more people requires a major lapse in positioning.

Azadethe1 votesYou do realize that the E actually has a pretty good hitbox between the knives? I've only played her once and hit literally every single stun. Place one knife behind a target and the other in front of you. = Everyone between those two points for about 600 points wide gets stunned. This is stupidly easy to aim if you ult, because they literally have no way to avoid it.
And.... it's pretty easy to get a team to stack on top of each other. It's called

stun is sitting at a width of around 125-150 units.
That is absolutely tiny.
It's not remotely comparable to any of the other champions you listed, who range from 200-600 radius on their big wombo spells.
Also, you don't have a single game as the new Irelia on your account. Either you've never touched her and are talking out of your ass or you've played her on PBE (a server where people have a shit connection and aren't playing seriously).

Her ult and E have a lot of value, and her Q is cool as always. She's likely to be present in competitive.
Her W is valuable, without a doubt, but it just isn't satisfying to use. Even meditate, a spell that is objectively very similar, is more satisfying.

Teridax681 votesI agree, I think Irelia's VGU is going to go down as one of the greats in Riot's recent champion relaunches. The devs took a kit that had an interesting theme, but did it tremendously poorly, and just completely unlocked all of her potential, turning her into a champion that's a lot more fluid, yet also far more interactive and interesting to fight. Her theme is beautifully done now, and with perhaps some exceptions on her skins (especially Frostblade), her visuals look excellent as well. This I think is a good opportunity to congratulate Riot on a job well done.
