Imagine how pissed people would be if Vayne had a 53%+ win rate for seasons


To be fair Janna has been nerfed and nerfed and nerfed and nerfed. You can't be unjust and say Riot has never touched her. Another point is that before Support items gave bonus shield and heals, her win rate was at least 3%- lower then it currently is. (But so were most supports so that doesn't mean much)
I'm NOT saying she's balanced or saying she doesn't need more nerfs, just that Riot has beaten Janna with the nerf bat so much that the cops were called for a domestic disturbance.
Ahri I have no flipping clue about so don't shoot me.
Darius is getting nerfed because he has a high winrate and a high pickrate. Ahri has had a higher winrate and a higher pickrate for two seasons straight, but that's ok :^)
Ahri isn't op though. She has good mobility, but she lacks the burst of other mobile champs. She's pretty balanced imo.
There's a difference. A fed Janna isn't going to delete you in .02 seconds while you wonder why you've got a gray screen. A fed Ahri might, but she'd have to be really far ahead, and still has issues dealing with tanks (despite her true damage Q return).

I wouldn't be pissed at all if vayne had PICK rate as janna or ahri, with that 53% winrate. Pickrate is also an important indicator, and disparity in it is huge, that's why I think vayne is OP, and janna/ahri are good but aren't OP.

neither of them are as toxic or easy to use as vayne Passive movement speed is mobility
+ vaynes passive her ult passive speed spike + her q. she has invisivbility on an adc while haveing amobility move hard cc and % max hp true damage. Crit breaks defenses anyway defensive items are balanced to go verus ad items not crit items and armor penetration is super powerful.

janna just has some sweet peel for her adc, she's taken a lot of hits from the nerf bat. ahri on the other hand...good lord someone give her mana costs or cd increases or something man...

I feel like the assassins rework being a failure inflated the mage role in mid in general. Ahri then received a big boost for being one of the top 5.
As a Janna main, the reason Janna frustrates players is because the kind of peel she provides forces you to chose very carefully about when you go in to kill her carry. Rather than you holding the power of deciding when your moment comes, she does. Playing around her cooldowns and her positioning is harder than playing around your own and it's frustrating. You should be trying to long range poke and then eventually burst down either her or her carry, or use someone with aoe CC (
). Going in when they are 2/3 health or above won't usually end well for you. Point being it doesn't really make her OP in a sense, compared to Vayne or Ahri, it's just difficult to play around which results in people making mistakes that cost the game, depending how far in the match is.
As for Ahri, beats me. Personally I think she needs some number adjustments and her charm duration changed to 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5. I'm fine with her having a safe laning phase if she gets rid of her late game safety.
