Unpopular opinion: After looking at new Akali im now certain

CertainlyT is the only Game Designer that should be working on new champions or reworks.

Its not even from "fight poison with poison" position. She actually looks interesting and fun. And im sure as hell she will be healthier and easier to balance than some Talon or other champions with same occupation.

If there will be enough CertainlyT champions to go around for everyone then they all will be in the same line.

If every champion were designed by certainlyT league would be amazing

But having 20/140 certainlyT champions in league makes things complicated

CertainltyT champions make other champions look extremly outdated

certainlyT has a real problem: he has amazing ideas and his creations revolve around a strong theme and are the parts of his kits work well together and around that theme, BUT he legit doesnt give a sh*t about the enviroment of those champions/reworks. 2 examples: i love playing the WW rework: it is the chase, hunt them down. everything works so well together: the w into ult, the q to follow up. But playing against a ww is pure cancer:

  1. you cant get low or he will find and kill you
  2. burst is ass against him. he presses e and your dmg is gone.
  3. but long fights with dps doesnt work well against him either. his healing with q and passive is brutal and his q/w will destroy you. when the ww gets ahead, he will invate you for ever and you cant to shit until his "bad" scaling kicks in (but only if you are a good dualist jungler).

lets talk about the greatest mistake: yasuo. when i talk to friends who actual play him, they always cant stop telling me how fun he is. this perma 1vs5 feeling seems to be strong. but when you look at his counterplay, you will find a champ with strong laning phase in most matchups and a disgusting lategame scaling. BTW: his skillcap declines with game duration. i respect a yasuo outplay in lane, but killing someone with an e and 3 autos is NO display of skill at all.

certainlyT gets the most stick from players, who are forced to play against his creations, while players maining his champs will love him for ever. he is pretty polarising. for me: i really really really hate yasuo, but the worst shit in this game isnt his fault: tryndamere, shaco and lulu.

His champions Darius (note: He did get a mini rework) Thresh Zyra (Note: was a collab with other creators) Yasuo Kalista Zoe

His reworks Warwick Mordekaiser Graves Caitlyn Akali

I disagree. I love this remake but I'm pretty sure at some point after he did Warwick he said he didn't enjoy working on remakes because it's too constrained. Clearly they allowed him a lot more freedom with Akali but if the case is more like Warwick I doubt he'd even be interested unless they let him do w/e he wants and delete the old kit. But the thing is a lot of champs shouldn't be deleted.

Unironically agreed this game can't have a mordekaiser laning against new Akali, make 99% of champions mobile and phase out point and click abilities so skillshots make up 90% of all abilities.

  • Zoe: balanced
  • Caitlyn: balanced (well, as balanced as ADCs can be)
  • Graves: balanced
  • Warwick: balanced
  • Zyra: balanced
  • Darius: balanced
  • Thresh: balanced

That leaves us with:

  • Kalista: unplayed
  • Mordekaiser: I honestly don't know, and can we really blame him?
  • Yasuo: Yasuo
  • Akali: uncertain

But CertainlyT is the worst designer ever /s
