Can Taliyah's passive actually be useful?

Taliyah's passive has no impact on her whatsoever, she gains movement speed when she moves next to walls, but she rarely needs it, it doesn't really help her get away, because if she's attacked, it stops it. And she can't jungle, so it doesn't help her much there, and when you roam as Taliyah, most of the time you can just wall in. If you're going to give her a movement speed boost, at least make it she doesn't always have to be next to walls for it to activate.

Honestly, if you change her passive completely instead of buffing her Q ALL the time to try to fix her low win rate, it would probably make her a little more balanced.

Ur totally right her passive is not only useless but irrelevant to her kit and role... I believe they gave her that just because it looks cool and it fits her wall concept..

I like the part of her passive that gives you MS on worked ground. Helps avoid and land skillshots, and it's always active (even in combat).

But I agree that her basic passive is kind of underwhelming because of its out-of-combat restriction.

Do not underestimate out of combat movement, as it greatly increases your ability to roam, even if it requires her to be near terrain (the jungle is full of it). That's the whole point of the Cloud Drake, Boots of Mobility, and that mastery that gives you out of combat movement. Movement speed can change a game, especially if you are trying to scoot to a new lane to save an ally, take out a wave that's encroaching on your tower, or join a team fight. Do not scoff at the advantages that moving fast out of combat provides.
