I want to use attack move and I have tried it but its so painfully hard and when I use it to try and trade I normally mess up combos and mess myself up the only reason I want to use it is because I hear its really efficient but I feel I can only use it on ranged champs on melee it feels even worse please help

Practice makes perfect.
The key is to recognize the times your aren't using it and it would have helped. Because no you don't always need it and it is hard to change habits but when you notice the times where you move instead of attack and realize you could have won that fight if you had used attack move, you won't mind practicing it anymore.
The attack move command is a blessing and a trap. It helps when improving from low to mid ELO, but isn't good for higher play. Personally I don't use it because actually doing it manually is more reliable and feels better.
Occasionally you can place a ward on an attacking adc and see them aa the ward because its closest.
Playing udyr helped me to attack move. You have to weave autos between everymovement command anyway so it's not too hard of a transition.
