So I am currently a gold V player and I've constantly heard that freezing early game is a great way to climb the ladder because it gives you a lead while also denying the enemy in the laning phase, so on paper is sounds broken i've watched countless videos and guides so I understand how to do it and even some advanced tips but I had a question of how do you stop the enemy from breaking it because say your playing garen and the enemy is playing darius, you lose that matchup so you set up the freeze your jungler is bot so hes not ready to go in, how do you stop darius from stopping the freeze because if he walks up not only do you lose the 1v1 but you are fighting in his minions

Freezing a wave is not always an option when you are losing lane. It is often only an option when you are ahead in lane. This is because the winning player gets to decide if the wave crashes into the tower or not. When you find yourself in this situation the best you can hope for is to keep the wave heading in your direction or clashing in the middle so that the enemy (darius in this case) is prevented from freezing the lane on his side. You will lose CS as you need to wait for it to be safe to farm CS but as long as the waves keep crashing into your tower you won't fall too far behind. I won't sugar coat it, if you lose lane you won't have a good time. let the CS go, take some jungle camps, ping for help from the jungler. Laning phase isn't forever but it can seem like it when you know you lost lane.
