They recently made a change to Brand where zhonyas and spellshields would stop the damage of his ult, but it would continue bouncing. I noticed that Fiora W stops the bouncing altogether and I was wondering if that was a bug.

For Carthage6 votesSivir's also stops exhaust, ignite, death mark, etc. Fiora's riposte actually is classified precisely as Sivir's is - a spellshield, but that it also blocks the damage as well.
XeroKimo3 votesO.o Last time I checked, Sivir can't block any summoner spells, her spell shield would work like a banshee's veil, blocks the first spell (summoner spells not included) hits, if she gets hit with 2 or more spells near simultaneously, the spell shield would block it all

She can also actually block multiple spells at once if they all hit at the same time, and that's something to watch. Timing's pretty precise on that, though.
XeroKimo3 votesI'm definitely sure sivir's spell shield can't block summoner spells, it's possible to have cleanse or QSS to remove summoner spells, but I know for a fact that sivir's spell shield works like nocturn's and banshee's veil, they only block actual spells

Fiora's Riposte is easier to play around and is more geared towards 1v1 encounters. Yasuo's wall is more matchup dependent but has huge utility in a team fight. Ditto for Braum.

I've had it fizzle plenty of times when it shouldn't - in theory, it's supposed to continue towards another target rather than "bounce", so if somebody else is in range, it's supposed to randomly pick and choose who the next victim is. It hasn't, however, with a Zhonya's consistently resulting in the spell fizzling when plenty of secondary targets are within casting range.

Blainezy1 votesPretty sure it's intended. Riposte parries EVERYTHING. Tis no longer once parried. Therefore, she ripostes your flame and makes it vanish, so it's no longer there to bounce anywhere. #balance
