I bought RP and really want to use it on Omega Squad Teemo... but he's on a list to be reworked.....

2 days ago, Riot confirmed Teemo is on a list to be reworked...... and this saddens me.

I really love Teemo's gameplay, always have, and I want to spend my RP on Omega Squad Teemo...... but if Riot is going to re-work him soon, then what's the point? Every re-work that Riot has done lately has been poorly received by the players. Everyone hates Malzahar's rework. And Veigar's. I can imagine how they will ruin Teemo too.

And since Riot doesn't give refunds for reworked champions (wtf?) .... why should I spend my RP on a Teemo skin if he's going to be reworked......

I would have no problem if Riot would refund the RP for Skin purchases for a Champion after a re-work..... but they don't.

Shouldn't Riot change this policy? At least refund the RP for skins purchased on a reworked champion? So we can spend the RP on another champion ....

Think of his rework coming in maybe, 1-2 years. Definitely at the end of next year at the soonest considering how many champs are infront of him.

Warwick, Galio, Urgot, Akali and Evelynn are all pretty much the highest on the list and riot only released 4 reworks last season sooooo yeah don't worry about it.

The people who hate the recent reworks are far, far, far outnumbered by the people who love them. Most of the class updates have been alright - but mages like Zyra, and assassins like Talon have proven to be a lot more fun and entertaining post-rework, especially since their reworks made them more thematic to their lore. Veigar is actually a helluva lot better than he was before, and he's super fun to play, and can really dominate if left to run free. People love the Veigar rework, and only the players who ignore him in game think he's bad when he just wrecks them in the face.

Full blown VGUs, which Teemo would most likely get, have always been received very positively, and the only backlash is from those on the forums who are still upset over some of the older ones like Karma and Trundle, of which Riot has stated that they learned from and have moved in different directions for future reworks. Sion is probably the first massive rework that you need to use as a benchmark when it comes to the quality to expect in the future. His rework reinvented him into a formidable force, and he became EXTREMELY viable post rework, and everyone loves it, except for the few freaks who think that AP mage Sion was the best thing in the world. Tristana's rework, Poppy's rework, Taric's rework, Ryze's rework, and Yorick's rework have all been phenomenal. On massive overhauls like Poppy, Taric, and Yorick, Riot has gone to the community with inquiries and listened in on the Boards to find out what makes these champions who they are. They've done a great job preserving what made the champions fun pre-rework, and given them new kits with some of their old abilities intact to make them feel modern with the same things we fell in love with. I think you'll have absolutely nothing to fear from them reworking Teemo. It's all in good hands.

as someone that owns every teemo skin.... i don't have enough refunds. especially after they ruined my poppy popper.

edit: yes riot, im still salty that i cannot have an actual duel in the middle of a teamfight.

It used to be like that. You used to be able to refund all skins (and the champion) if you sent a support ticket in about a recently reworked champion. They changed that though...

Edit: I found the thread explaining their choice to change the policy. http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4572524

Malzahar is pretty much the only rework that ex-mains didn't enjoy. Ryze, Poppy, Sion, Graves, Brand, Zyra, Talon, Leblanc, the list goes on and on and on and on. They are all far superior to what they were. Teemo is one of the most worthless champions in the game, with one of the most non-interactive gameplay patterns of the roster. He's in desperate need of a rework.

Veigar's rework didn't really change anything though?
