Can Sion change direction of Q while charging up? A Sion bot did it.

I don't have any videos because I found this while playing a bot game. The bot changed direction of Q twice while charging up, seemingly towards me or my ally, but only once per cast. I thought this was impossible to do. Is it possible, or is this a bug?

Match history, if it helps. https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2722168308/216352813

Also posted this on r/dirtysionmains in case they know anything about it https://nm.reddit.com/r/DirtySionMains/comments/7yjx56/can_sion_change_direction_of_q_while_charging_up/

I've seen it too. The bots cheat.

There are certain things that are input-locked client side, like panth being unable to cast abilities while he's landing from his ult. Panth bot casts his skills earlier than humans can. Sion bot changes Q direction. idk what else.

Theoretically a player could mod their client to be able to do these types of things but that is bannable. It's like scripting.

I haven't seen a Pantheon bot do that, but that's interesting! I guess it is a bot only issue.

you should try to save the replay

maybe just a bug

...what kinda arbitrary limitation BS... Maybe some telling "before and after"?

I don't remember any, but if I see another sion bot, I'll look out for it. I think it only happened in laning phase, although it might be because after that, bots typically get deleted whenever they show their face on the map.

This is most likely a bug. If you found this in coop bot game, I personally don't play it that much but I know that rammus also has an issue where every time he presses his q (rolling button), he just stays there unless he runs away. I know it's a different champion but that's likely a bug just like poor ol rammus is.

But for Rammus (and Galio does too, with his taunt), a human player can do the same thing by using stop command. Sion cannot.
