[PBE]: Why Neeko was disabled

So I wanted to give Neeko a try on PBE yesterday & after the client patched up, I found that she & Galio were Disabled due to a gamebreaking bugs. At some point today, Vandiril uploaded a video showing us why ~~Treeko~~ Neeko was disabled.

Apparently copying Udyr allowed Neeko to have access to her [R: Pop Blossom] as early as Level 1, but she would lose the ability to upgrade her Ultimate. This makes me wonder if she can achieve the same result by copying Jayce, Elise & Nidalee as well (Since they use R to change forms, similar to Udyr) or if they simply added Trickster's Glass to Summoner's Rift, would the same thing happen to everyone else?

A massive scaling aoe ult available at lvl1 sounds like a valid "hey we need to fix this" reason to me.

Not saying it isn't. A 130% AP ratio being available is no laughing matter.

I mean, sure, but at a point in the game where Neeko has 30 AP, that ratio doesn't mean a whole lot.

It's more about the stun at that point.

It is a valid "hey we need to fix this" reason but did they REALLY need to disable her? Its not like you have Udyr on your team in every single match

Nobody even knew what was the reason of disabling until like 1 hour ago

...because they couldn't reproduce it in their own games, because Neeko was disabled. If they'd been able to play Neeko the whole time it would have been known a lot sooner and used by more people.

Because it wouldn't have been JUST udyr. It would've been ANY champion with access to ult at level one. Udyr, Karma, Nidalee, Elise, and Jayce would all have needed to be disabled. Why disable 5 when you can just disable the 1 with the issue to begin with?

...so why not disable Udyr instead of Neeko?

We need testers on the new champion to find the rest of the bugs, and disabling her like this is just removing precious PBE testing time when we already probably don't have enough to find all the bugs and oversights with this goddamn passive

if that is REALLY the case.. then i think we have a pretty good idea on what balance is so horrifically bad

i mean dont u even have to freaking test turning into someone? how can you miss something like this

i have friends and family beta tested THREE games and not once of them has a bug this big.

i don't think riot tests ANYTHING beyond the absolute basics... they certainly don't try out their changes in an ACTUAL GAME.

She didn't lose the ability to the upgrade it though, just had to morph into udyr again to do it and could upgrade it to lvl 5 as though it were a standard ability I played a bot game to test it and had a 5 rank (1100 base damage) ultimate by lvl 9 and could easily oneshot the bots because of it

Well this was about a week ago, my guess is she SHOULD be available right now. Haven't checked PBE since I made this post, so she might up now unless they're still having issues.
