Forcing us to play at a certain time for Clash feels really bad

So here in EUW, the Clash mode lock-in forces allows us to lock in at 7:30 PM (GMT) and scouting starts 7 minutes after. We were then made to play/queue immediately afterwards even though 2 of us had to go dinner which meant we couldn't attend the tournament.

We just had timing issues with this (and I'm sure and it just feels like Riot making us to play at a certain time feels awful.

We could have instead multiple timeslots for tournament, or better still - let us enter made tournaments.

It's just incredibly inconvenient :/

It seems like a pretty long time commitment to ask of people.

I get it, teenagers and college students have nothing else to do---very little responsibility and only a small portion have jobs or whatever, but here in adult-land it's pretty tough to block out 4 hours of time CONTINUOUSLY to play a game.

how many games do you need to play each day? is it 730 for each day of the tourney. of is it adjusted on sat and Sunday and 730 on Friday

Isn't that the point of tournaments? You sacrifice the time you need for it. Otherwise, just go back to Ranked Matches.
