Are some items/champions balanced around each other and is it healthy?

The primary one I have in mind for this is Darius and item 3071. It would probably be pretty reasonable to assume that they're balanced around each other, given how Darius' passive synergizes with the cleavers' passives. The item is considered to be pretty mandatory for Darius to rush by most players. So the question is: Is this healthy? Would it be better or worse for the game if changes were made to split the two, while still having both function well?

Discussion isn't limited to this synergy; if you have other champions/items/masteries/etc in mind feel free to bring them up.

yes they are and yes it is

though usually the change is made to the champion so that they can be adjusted for something emant to help others

However, if something changes the champion will usually be changed back or an exception in an ability will be made like item 3025 not triggering off certain abilities

But that last part isnt actually healthy for the game unless its clear that the item should not work. (cuz clarity is part of game health)

Yorick and item 3071, the ghouls stack the passive really fast. Also with item 3812 it's really cool to see your health bar fill up against anyone that can't get rid of the mistwankers instantly.

I think the only synergies that are unhealthy for the game right now are Yasuo's Q cough 4secCDallranks cough and Fervor of Battle, and Singed with the item 2033item 1082item 1082item 1082item 1082 build.

I feel like there are interactions that are cool and exciting, and interactions that seem like straight up abuse of power.
