Hey everyone, this isn't a QQ thread (although yes, i do have a slight frustration towards this champion, but not because of having to play against him)

Ever since i got a slight idea of how LoL champions work and get created,i've never stopped wondering just why blitzcrank out of all champions, seems to be one of the only champions they don't touch whatsoever. They've stated before that they attempt to make every champion as varied as possible, and that linear champion design is something they want to strive away from (See: recent reworks to previously very linear and limited champions) However, this is possibly THEMost linear champion still in the game, with his entire gameplay revolving around hitting his Q and then all other abilities and items.

His potential could be limitless, being a magic-powered golem in a world full of magical creatures and magic users, yet both his ingame model and set are heavily outdated and despite still being used in alot of games, both ranked and unranked, riot doesn't ever seem to touch him even in the slightest besides maybe for an extremely minor balance "change" every year and a half. Isn't about time that our old rusty robot gets added to the "to be reworked soon" reel?

One of the problems with suggesting reworks is, what's the effort the rework team needs to put into it for what reward?

Blitzcrank is not particularly game breaking; yes he's obnoxious in the right hands but he also has big glaring weaknesses to counterbalance him. He has high moments, low moments, and it's not too hard to play around his Q if you know what to expect, which is where the rest of his kit draws a lot of strength out of.

Let me put it this way. The Xin Zhao rework works because it took minimal effort to swap out a statcheck ability of his for an actual basic ability, and the idea behind his Ultimate was already there, they just needed to let that idea show. What this means is that it would only have taken minimal effort for pretty good results. Or on the other hand, the Galio rework works because, even though it was a complete overhaul, the whole kit needed a complete overhaul and now Galio's an actual champion to many people's eyes. In Blitzcrank's case, it honestly feels like we'd be throwing a disproportionally high amount of effort into making minimal improvements on the healthiness of his kit.

Power shift from his q to his other abilities, or make him a top laner like he was supposed to
