I didn't assume anything, I said "IF THAT 9/3 PERSON WAS SUPREMELY SALTY"
Not that 9/3 person is super salty, so I actually didn't assume anything, you made the assumption. I simply added a layer to the situation in which the person isn't owed honor. Additionally carrying isn't done through KDA alone, if they went 9/3, but never left top lane the entire game leaving their team to get wrecked everywhere else, they're still not owed anything as they weren't carrying.
High KDA does not translate to carrying and mathematically if you had teammates that between the two of them were 4/24, the enemy team is pretty fed and that low death timer is likely achieved due to selfish play.
Furthermore, what of support players? What if that 1/9 person extended out is 1/9/35?
Your attitude where people are owed things is the problem with most people today. Nobody is owed a single thing, they have to earn it. You aren't owed a trophy for showing up to the soccer game even if your team finishes last place. You're not owed a job because you went through college. You're not owed a pay raise because you've been working at a specific place for xyz number of years.
You earn what you get, you're owed nothing. Simply having a positive K/D ratio doesn't mean you've earned anything.
Do you even know what the Honor categories are actually for? Friendly, meaning you actually were nice and enjoyable to be around in terms of the chat. Helpful, meaning you actually helped your team learn something about the game, champions, goals, item builds, etc. Teamwork, meaning you actually cooperated well with your team, maybe even took the role of shot caller and aided your team in everything they accomplished. And Honorable Opponent, meaning you weren't a complete dick while winning/losing, no whining in chat about your team, or about how the enemy team is only winning because they're playing OP crap.
Last I checked none of those are defined by having a high kill/death ratio.
So no you're not owed honor for going 9/3 and having teammates perform poorly.
