Regarding move attack, Azir and range indicators
Hello,
I am a casual player and I enjoy playing Azir, but I have very poor motor coordination, and for my life I can't click on things very well, thus, I can't control his soldiers efficiently.
The only thing that allows me to play autoattack reliant champions, is being able to use the attack move command (shift+click or X), which allows me to kite with no major problems.
But Azir can't do his.
My suggestion is allowing independent units or summons (solders) to obey attack move commands, or order them to attack move command (think putting your mouse nearby the soldier and shift+clicking), without giving the command to the actual champion (so it doesnt go around walking to his death).
I feel it would made Azir much less clunky do play, allowing players to relieve the concentration to micro, and move these efforts to position and macro management, which is the point of playing the Emperor.
I would like to suggest also adding a second ring on the soldiers, that indicates the maximum range which Azir can use these do attack. To avoid confusion, maybe different colors for soldiers attack range and maximum leash range?
I feel these could be a togglabe (does this word exists? lol) option to champions with summons/ independent units.
Think about Tibbers and Voidlings, which could bbey the move attack command and show a leash range to his summoner.
On this, I think it would also be a very nice addition for people like me, that rely on move attack command, to have a toggle option that shows the champions attack range around him, so I don't have to waste my evidently low processing brain power on memorizing invisible range lines. It would be something like the indicator that X shows when pressed, but on a faded rage/ line indicator, much like Rengar's when ready to jump.
I feel changes along these lines would greatly improve the gameplay for people with clunky hands like me. It would make him much less mechanical dependant, without making him easier to play. The soldiers maximum ring range would also improve players positiong, allowing for more precise decisions and plays. It would also make him a much more noob friendly champion. I think a lot of people move away from Azir because you have to spend a long time training and memorizing specific and useless things (microing him and attacking with soldiers, memorizing W leash range & Q leash range, and these are a lot of invisible lines to keep in mind at all times.
Thank you for your attention. :)
