Volibear discussion
Hi, I wrote a super post, but erased it by accident and didn't save, so I'll try to tl;dr
-Volibear needs to catch Q changes (inconscientes) -Rengar Q treatment: Slight aspd buff for his Q autoattack animation -Slight autoattack range (~25) increase for his Q, so his attack hitbox matches his front paws when he's in 4 paws (very noticeable when trying to flip a skinny model character, like most human females). Or either give him the unability to cancel his Q autoattack.
-Tanking problems Passive can't sustain tanking anymore. The game changed, we are not in 2012 anymore, resistances are not effective as they used to be (damage is cheaper, penetration is much more efficient, resistances are more expensive), and he can't tank for that long anymore (no one can, honestly). My suggestion is to change his passive to heal over 6/5/4/3 seconds, so timing ignite is more important, and reinforces his tanking aspects.
-Sticking potential R can be casted while moving. Everyone dashes/blinks and slows right now. Melee characters that don't do that have no time to cast skills. The same goes for Gangplank's E. It's time to riot to abandon the fear of buffing these characters because they were strong in the patch. The game changed. If Rengar could (AND HE JUMPS), they also can.
His itemization is great right now, with the new jungle items. He has a good clearing, and definitivey is back to the game, I just feel that his catching and tanking power (which both are core aspects of his identity) should be reinforced. Yes, I am aware that buffing his Q is dangerous, because flipping is a very powerfull CC, but it's also his catching method.
I know I'm not a Volibear pro, but he should get some love. I'll try to edit later with all the thoughts I had while writing, just feeling very frustrated with the forums right now. -__-'
