Why do chimes spawn on the enemy side of the territory?

I dont really mind that but early in the game its such a taunt. Some of them are in the enemy jungle or even under the turret. You need the chimes in order to keep your mana pool sustained. Can we all agree that pre 15 mins all the chimes should spawn on the friendly side of the map?

i think we can all agree that if your chime spawns under enemy turret you do not neccisarily need THIS chime in particilair

the thing with chimes in the enemy jungle is this (im a jungle main)

whenever i see a bard im like F u adc this is my suport and we go get those enemy chimes togather this makes it so that if i meet the enemy jungler i wil be able to duel him il get good wards in the enemy jungle and before you know it the enemy jungle is my and bards jungle

They changed it to where they only spawn in safe locations for the first like 5 minutes, and I honestly laughed at that patch.
Bard is a good champ, but there are aspects of him that make him really.. "different" that aren't quite hammered out.
I still don't like him as a support. I wish he'd have something that made him a viable mid laner.. because roaming / your tunnel / etc. would all be really good things on a mid laner IMO.
The fact that he has to be a squishy little thing with no damage, that's supposed to be SUPPORTING another player, and he has to roam all over the map just to do any damage.
Hate to tell you - but every game "Wait for their bard to go for chimes, then dive him" Is a common thing every time I see a Bard on the enemy team. And it always works.

stun actualy does allot than there is the fact that if we fuck up bard can stun and magical journy out of there lol so you can almost risk free invade even if you dont get the kil you are more than likely setting the enemy jungler behind

Pretty sure they spawn nearish to you - stay in base until right before minions spawn in a custom game, and see if they spawn in the enemy jungle. Just don't roam too far close to their jungle, and they shouldn't spawn there.

So you can pretend you're James Bard, deep in enemy territory, seducing their jungler with wild rides on a Magical Journey. http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11111/111118192/3954028-2646988755-every.png

I think it's intended that some chimes are in places where you can easily get them, and other chimes are in places where you have to think "is it really worthwhile to try to get this one". His power curve shouldn't require getting every single chime that ever spawns.

Well what would Pac-man be like if all of the food was locked away from the ghosts.

I find my bard roams are mostly determined by when I need to refill my mana.

Right now unless you have a serious carry mismatch the lane with Bard is going to be on the defensive and the weaker of the two lanes bot. You're there to sustain with chimes ( generally to level 3 before leveling Q ) and when you need to refill mana that is when you get on the road.

There's no reason to do that. If an opportunity comes where you are in the middle of the enemy jungle, like an early teamfight or something like that, you're gonna want some mana, aren't you?

I'd say the most dangerous places are the best places to get mana restore/speed boosts.
