Question about Ranked LP

So I lost 7 matches in row when I got promoted to gold. But then I won 6 of 7 after that. But after the 8 losses in a row I can't get more than 13 lp. I got so pissed after I won 6 of 7 then lost that 7th game and lost 25 lp. Now I win again today. gain 13. Loss second match and BOOM another 25 point loss. Is there any freaking way to return to the 20 lp gain or am i stuck getting 13 lp a win forever? Because I feel like I will be stuck in gold 5 forever if I can't somehow get more than 13 lp. I think im ok. But i highly doubt I can win 4 to 1 matches all the way up to 100 lp.

Your "MMR" decides how much LP you gain each game. If you win a game against everyone higher than you in rank, you will gain more "MMR" and LP. MMR is a hidden number but if you want to find a rough approximation, check here. Also, your MMR can change and does very often. You are not always gonna be stuck at gaining 13 LP, but the more you win the more MMR you will gain.

So every single game I am up against a worse team. But when I lolnexus them I usually have less mmr by team then them. Ok. So I play again today. A win 13 my buddy got 14. We play next game have a 0 and 10 ryze top and we lose 25 lp. Consistent with every loss being 25 lp. I looked at it. But I don't think its true. If lolnexus says they have more mmr than our team yet when we lose we still get 25 lp hmm...
