I'm a bit annoyed and sad but not "furious" considering it's going on 8 years of this shit. NA being NA We take and take and take talent around the world but yet, we don't seem to know what to do with any of the talent that we "buy". Can't seem to ever win a tie-breaker to save out lives. Even with Korean coaches our drafts have been garbage to boot.

But HEY, here in 2-3 months the NA Summer Split will start and so will the overhyping of NA only to get pwnd at Worlds 2018. Rinse and repeat !

Bjergsen actually made some good points about why NA is trash and why they will always be trash. It's because of their mind set. NA players just don't care. They only care about becoming famous on streams and get their clips trending on Reddit. They only care about making money, because it's easy with Twitch. So, they hit Challenger, they stream and they get money. If any of them goes pro, good shit, that's even more money. But they don't care about personal success as much.

Look at Korea. Koreans live and breathe for this kind of competition, you can see it in their tradition and culture. They want to be successful at this, so they put in the hours, the put in the effort. NA, on the other hand, doesn't. They obviously want to win as well, but they just don't really care as much, they don't put in the effort and it shows. Most of the players don't care, especially those on the low end, the teams don't care either. They secured a spot in the NA LCS, they got their sponsors, so they simply don't give a fuck about raising pay grades for their players and coaches.

Why the fuck would a coach spend time working on macro and all that stuff, just to get paid a meaningless amount? There was a reddit post that said something about 500$ / month for the coaches or something. No wonder why they don't care. And it's not like the players on TSM or TL or C9 are unskilled. Sure, they aren't as good as the best Koreans, but the problem is their macro and team play. Any region in the world just outclasses NA.

But hey, Riot is gonna keep on hyping NA. Summer split is coming, so they will make a couple of trailers to hype it up, casters and analysts will keep on saying how they have a stacked league with stacked teams. They keep on saying the same shit every single fucking split since I started watching back in 2015, and every fucking time, NA gets stomped at EVERY INTERNATIONAL EVENT, most notably Worlds.

Flash Wolves have had success at Worlds. EU, mainly with FNC, have had tremendous success as well. Chinese teams, like EDG and RNG have been a household name. Korea has won 5 straight World Championships, with most of the finals being between Korean teams.

NA has done nothing at all. They only just hand out money to buy players, because that's what players want, and no one really cares about improving.
