Why does Garens ult do 1300 damage when i only have 2400 health?

because you actually had like 50 health, and death recap doesnt account for useless overkill.

think about it. even if the ult technically deals more than a 1000 damage, youre actually just taking the last 50 of your health bar in damage. at that point you could have been killed by an auto attack.

if you actually had more than half health the moment he ulted, you probably took damage from something else right before the ult hit. maybe an adc crit you or something.

AHAHAHAH IKR. Why does he get to do any damage at all lol. They need to nerf him, and tbh all tanks that do that kind of damage.

garen isnt a tank.

like many before, you dont understand the difference between a tank and a bruiser. think of him more like a slower riven or yasuo, who gets to be more durable for not being loaded with short cooldown dashes, and hard cc like stuns and knockups.

an actual tank is usually not just durable, but also loaded with cc and ranged, hard engage or heavy peel. ironically, sion isnt actually a juggernaut, but leans more towards tank. too much hard engage on his ult, and too much cc in his kit to qualify.

meanwhile juggernauts as a subcategory of fighters are mostly heavy melee focused, have very little utility or mobility, and are very durable while dealing large amounts of damage

I guess that is fair. Two questions though. One: how do you beat garen. Two: where would you rank champions like pantheon/wukong/jax?

jax, and wukong ae terrible in general right now. theyre getting semi buffed with triforce changes next patch.

id say jax just has a weak early game, while his lategame can get insane with the new rageblade and the other itemization he has.

pantheon. probably one of the strongest lane bullies in the game, can definitely beat garen in lane. i dont know about lategame.

otherwise there are two ways to beat garen. either early with a ranged top laner or a melee who can just straight up beat him (pantheon). or with the right champions in other lanes who can block him out of a fight. passive supports like janna, and nami, or cc heavy mid laners like anivia or zyra.

I meant as in if they are decent bruisers or better off as assassins. And yeah jax will get a huge buff next patch with the new triforce. People are still trying to force the rageblade build which makes him weaker early too lol. Also, do you ever look at garen and think that he looks like a justin bieber with a small head and big shoulders?

cant answer the first couple of qustions. i dont main jax or wukong and havent played them in a long time.

ive just not seen a wukong be relevant in a long time either. jungle or top doesnt matter, he usually loses in both positions. where in jungle he doesnt seem to get stomped quite as hard.

as far as garens haircut and shoulders. it kinda looks like shit compared to his old self. i really dont like the blown up shoulderpads they put on him. its why the only skin i can really play him on is desert trooper. otherwise it looks downright stupid. i also want the punch animation back.

preferably to punch whoever came up with this. i mean look at it. i dont know why ironstylus thought this would be a good idea.

the sad part is, this isnt even just the splash art, he literally sports these monsters on that skin.

its a hard lane against darius, but he should win mid to lategame.
