At this point something is wrong, the adc and support have been pushed back in lane, and ADC has said fine, I will cs under turret, at this point it should 100% obvious that this a troll support. These accounts should be insta-banned. Why? Because my brother who is eight years old, my girlfriend who doesn't play video games, and nearly every other person in the world, learns after at most 5 games? 10 games? Not to take the adc's cs, and especially not if the ADC has said something.
Yet time and time again you the see troll support either live troll or AI bot purchased online, trolling the adc, stealing cs. For the bots, it's strictly business, they want the adc weak so that they can quickly stomp and move on to the next game. For the live trolls, they want that adc's beautiful rage tears. The most tasty form of troll food.
....and yet as obvious as all of this crap is, why is there a gray area? What is hard about this to understand?

Its a duo lane, not an adc and its bitch. If im playing support and the adc cant last hit to save his life and is missing a lot, i start csing the minions i know theyll miss. Wasting gold is not ok... Not every adc is even decent at the game. Let them practice in normals. If its ranked im doing whatever it takes to get the team the win.

If you're not troll then yes, sometimes the CS is out of control and calls someone who has maybe taken 1-2 cs or covered lane while they were gone, a troll and that's wrong, BUT THAT IS THE EXCEPTION.

Zaryelle3 votesI've seen both, supports who take too much cs or disrupt the ADC's csing, and I've seen ADCs get mad at supports taking cs for legitimate reasons: necessary heal with relic shield, cs that could not have otherwise been gotten (like minions are killing it before they can get a chance to aa), sometimes I'll even prep the cs like someone said above, lower their HP to an amount that the ADC can easily finish off and get all of them
I typically only play support, so I'm probably better than the average person at knowing how to make sure ADC gets majority cs, but when someone else plays support and I go ADC, most of them don't know how to properly divide CS and make sure ADC gets the majority. If you can't understand that both of these occur then I have to assume you are just trolling.
Trust me when I say I know there are troll supports, I've seen tons of them, but there are just as many troll ADCs who will flame support for little or no reason.

My experiences may be different because I am almost always the support, I prefer the support abilities - healing, shielding, cc, getting my team fed, etc, but I have seen about an equal amount of troll adc and troll support, they are probably the same people. The troll supports seem to be just trolls in general and they don't even want to support to begin with.
I usually end the game with about equal cs to the lowest cs person in the team, or slightly below, and almost all of those are from relic shield. If I find myself with high cs because of ADC not last hitting or afk I will typically spend it all on utility or tank/sustain items for the team.

I very, very rarely see a support "trolling." Especially with Dynamic Queue, where only those who want to be a support will be a support.

You just spent a good while arguing the opposite and stating that such reasons were "child-like."
Also, why don't you listen to people for once? As a lvl 14, there are many things still to learn and observe. I played this game for 3 years and I only just got to Platinum. Much of the points brought up that you argued against are things that all supports are to strive for and define good supports in high elos.
It is something we also need to practice, and not everyone is perfect. It has taken me months to get it down to near accuracy.
Just please, don't act like you know more than a Platinum player when you yourself have barely learnt a thing.

There is such a thing as "negative bias" where you remember the negative times better than the positive times. You probably wont admit it's a thing but I don't care. It's not too hard to see the basics of human behavior and this is one of them. It's very easy to latch onto the negative experiences.

Telephone Booth4 votesI prep minions under tower all the time for my adc. It's pretty advanced for support to do that so a lot of people don't even know when it's right to do or wrong. You can only do it early game though, as once the adc has enough damage he can one shot em after a turret hit anyways. Also with relic shield you should use your 2 charges on first wave and then always save 1 charge for the cannon minion. And please ADCs, recognize that your support needs to use those charges. You're losing your team gold by just non stop taking the cs when your support has several charges of relic shield.

I posted a huge post saying that while you have charges this can be seen as legitimate, but when your support IS FULL HEALTH AND/OR YOU HAVE NO CHARGES, and your support continues, this is trolling, and THIS the most common occurrence.
Now, unfortunately, RIOT WON'T/CAN'T DO SOMETHING about these trolls, and this SENSITIZES (look it up, it's called google) those ADC mains to now to be HYPER-VIGILANTE and you might get the brunt of that as a support.

I've seen supports who take CS for no reason at all, so I understand it happens, I don't understand the anger toward my post because it is a common scenario I see people don't understand when I'm using relic shield it gives them gold and heal, and I typically only use it when they wouldn't have otherwise gotten the cs,or if they badly need the heal. There's assholes on both ends.
Yes bots are becoming a problem, but it is not at all related to what I said in my post. I specifically play support because I like the role and support abilities and I'd rather feed my team then have people raging about who gets the CS all game.
Again, you should have made your own post, not replied to mine, because everything you said has very little to do with my original post. As others have said you seem to be reaching for an argument when there wasn't one. Next time make your own post.
