Damn, Ziggs's W will do 1400 damage to turrets (35% of their hp) if they are at 35% or less
Title basically, astonishing especially since they are so weak aswell.

People are blowing this way out of proportion.
Even with this change he won't take down a turret as fast as a Tryndamere, for instance.
Why can't an AP mage also be a splitpusher?
Um, nothing was blown out of proportion, everything i said is true, it is 35% it is 1400 it is an execute. No one said he can't be a sieger/splitpusher (though splitpushing wouldn't nearly be as good as tryndamere because he is so squishy), like this meta is super dive heavy super easy to destroy towers, adding this just seems stupid at a time like this - until they make towers useful/tankier
