How To: Improve ELO

So far from playing ranked in this season i've noticed a few things, Everybody(almost) was demoted a bunch of divisions/tiers, I have been playing with people who were demoted, the games are much harder.

Demoted in 10 matches - If you didnt win a majority of your matches (or even if you did in some cases) you were likely demoted a shit ton of divisions/tiers. This happened to me, i was demoted from gold V to silver IV. The one thing you need to realize and that i wish i had realized faster is to not go on tilt because of your new rank(i was victim to this). i thought i had fought so hard to get out of silver and all that stuff and i was shoved back into it, i now realize i am still playing with golds(they were all demoted as well).

evry1 else was demoted too - this is where i say im now playing with plats and golds from last season who are now silver, this leads me to believe that i can climb up the ranks with them and hopefully i can finish this season in plat.

games are much harder - Because im playing with people who were plats etc. from last season they don't make as many mistakes, and i get punished hard for making my mistakes. So heres my tip to you, if you are getting pumbled in your games, try to look at what you did before you died. Some deaths are unavoidable but probably at least 90% ARE. if i can learn to not make silly mistakes, and if i can learn to punish the enemy for making their mistakes then there is a better chance that i will climb to their rank by the end of the season.

TL;DR

you're pissed because you were demoted this season, dont be! there is still hope. If you play as much as you can now your skill level will naturally improve and you too will rise through the ranks with the others, dont give up just because its harder, you gotta learn from those silly "oh i got ganked fuck this ima afk" moments. Now if i dont have vision i never push half way through my lane. the only time i usually push is if my laner has no teleport and just went b, and the jungler was spotted on the opposite side of the map.(that is a useful strategy to learn)
