why does garen have to be able to damage tanks???? he is an unkillable juggernaut that takes forever to kill unless you have guys that do % hp dmg all focus him. his only role in teh game to shutdown the enemy carry. THAT IS HIS NICHE. NOT being an unkillble tank that deals treu dmg and makes it impossible to actually fight him due to him just 1 shotting you with no effort once you are at <50%

Sanctimonious2 votesGaren's a useless one dimensional champion that builds black cleaver so he can provide some utility to his team. The armor shred buff is multiplicative, and doesn't really do enough to bring him into a good spot.

why does a guy that can armor break TWICE the entire enemy team. delete the carry with no way of preventing it. and just remove himself from battle and come back to it 5 seconds later fully healed? he needs nerfs. tho really it should just be his r that needs a nerf, it used to be that you could stop his ult from killing you by getting hexdrinker. now that it does true dmg if you kill anyone that isnt garen. he has no counters now.

He can't delete the carry, because he gets kited to crap even with his Q His ulti is literally only used to KS people His passive is useless. It rewards standing still out of combat.
Garen gets screwed by literally: Anyone who still builds rylai's or has innate ranged CC) (Swain, Vlad, Kayle, Cassiopeia, Kennen Any ranged character that can kite / has any CC at all (Gnar, Teemo, Kayle, Jayce) Most fighters can take him too (Fiora, Ekko, Kled, Yi, Rumble, Yasuo)
Literally half the champions in the game do well against Garen.

Critmaster Garen1 votesits funny, because he always had armor shred available to him, in form of his most stat effective item. the addional effect on his e doesnt stack very well with cleaver, so the difference is actually small.
